The NFL's first female coach, an Obama administration official, stand-up comedian-turned TV journalist and more are the newest members of the Fairfax County Public Schools Hall of Fame.

Educate Fairfax held its third annual FCPS Alumni Hall of Fame induction ceremony in late September, recognizing eight alumni who attended Fairfax County high schools. FCPS Superintendent Michelle Reid presented each honoree with an award recognizing them.

Educate Fairfax Hosts Inaugural FCPS Hall of Fame Event

On May 4, 2022, the first class of distinguished alumni were inducted into the FCPS Hall of Fame. 

The eight honorees span six decades and represent seven different FCPS high schools. This year’s class of Hall of Fame inductees include a life-long diplomat, a war hero, entrepreneurs, a lawyer and inventor, a young published author and filmmaker, an international athlete, and one of FCPS’s leadership team.

Educate Fairfax, its staff and board, believes that our vibrant and successful school system contributes to a great quality of life here in Fairfax County.
