In the summer of 2010, Andrew and I attended "Locker Day" at Luther Jackson Middle School. Little did I know that not only would I be learning all of the steps to becoming a middle schooler, I would also become acquaintances with my future husband. Andrew and I officially met in our 7th grade science class. Later we would find out that each of us had a crush on one another, but at that time I referred to him as "the distracting boy who annoys me." In 8th grade we were no longer on the same team and we seemingly forgot about each others existence, as most middle school crushes come and go.

Fast forward to 2012, Andrew and I were Freshman at Falls Church High School where we became acquaintances again when the band and orchestra collaborated at our winter concert. Over the next two years Andrew and I became the best of friends, until March of 2014 where we started dating. Our nearly 11 year long relationship has consisted of homecomings, proms, concerts, High School graduation, working at summer camp together, long distance when we went off to separate colleges, a pandemic, college graduations, getting engaged, starting new jobs, and then getting married in October of 2022. We have grown up together and can't wait to grow old together. We are so grateful we found our best friends and life long partners here at FCPS.
