Maureen Boland, Suzy Follansbee Gartner, Laura Belter Shannon, Julie Bruce Carbaugh, Melissa Coughlin Rothstein, Jennifer Briggs Ferguson, Laura Schimler Nachison West Springfield and Lake Braddock (and Irving and Hunt Valley) classes of 1986

Over 40 years of friendship and we're still going strong. This group (5 of the 7 of us) were at Hunt Valley in the 1970s. Then onto Irving where two others joined in. A boundary change had one of us going to Lake Braddock, but the rest stayed close in high school at West Springfield. We've stayed with each other as we experienced college, weddings, babies (we have 27 kids among us!), aging parents, and grown-up kids! We try to get together in a big group (all 7 of us) at least once a year. It's not always easy to find the time, but we know how important it is and 5 of the 7 of us have sons and daughters who are graduates of FCPS.
