We met in HomeRoom in 1968, shortly after Oakton High School opened its doors to students for the first time! Carter and Cable were naturally in the same class. We graduated together with the OHS Class of '70. From there, we went to Northwestern U. (Bill) and the University of GA (Carolyn). When completing college, 4 years later in 1974, we married.

We have now been married over 50 years and our children attended FCPS and now, we have grandchildren attending FCPS! Thank you, FCPS!
