From Megan: Jess and I met in elementary school at London Towne ES, we were part of the Spanish immersion class. We have been best friends for 35 years.  We parted ways in elementary school but both of us ended up working for FCPS as teachers. We ended up being able to work at the same school for a year.  After that I went and taught at another school, both her children ended up going there and I was their PE teacher.  Now, we are at separate schools and I’m not with her kids, but we call each other almost daily.  To this day, we remain best friends and have seen each other through many life events.
