Our love story began in the hallways of Fairfax Public Schools, where fate had a little fun in store for us. Kenny and I first crossed paths in middle school (Key MS), though we were just classmates at first. Kenny and I were complete opposites, He was big on sport and I was big on books. We started to bond over, mutual friends and discovered we lived only one block away from each other. Little did we know, those simple moments would lay the foundation for something extraordinary.

Fairfax Public Schools played a pivotal role in our journey. From the teachers who taught us more than academics to the after-school activities that kept us connected, our experiences shaped who we are today. Kenny excelled in athletics, always embodying teamwork and perseverance, while I thrived in student organizations, developing leadership and communication skills that would guide me in my career.

After graduating, our paths diverged briefly as we pursued higher education and career goals, but we always found our way back to each other. We supported one another through challenges, celebrated every milestone, and never forgot the lessons we learned during our time in Fairfax.

Today, we’ve built a life rooted in love, respect, and growth. We recently got married this past October and we can’t help but reflect on how it all started. Fairfax Public Schools didn’t just give us an education; it gave us each other and the tools to build a life we love.
