Brett and I met in 1979 at HVES. We were in the same class in 6th grade. Brett was a Coast Guard brat and moved around through middle school returning to FCPS junior year in HS. We began dating in the summer of 86 right when we graduated. We broke up during college when he was at Miami of OH and I was at UVA. Fast forward to a reconnection in 1990 and then an engagement in 92 and marriage in 93. We’re still going strong 31 years later and have raised three girls in FCPS schools.
